The Gulf of Bothnia on the eastern shores of Norbotten has superb beach facilities in the summer. Temperatures in the summer can reach 30 C with unbroken blue sky. The winds from the north east allow for great surfing activities for the novice and the experienced surfer.

Högbacka House is ideal as a base camp for visiting windsurfing/paragliding/kite surfing clubs and groups. You are only 45 minutes drive away from the eastern shores of the Gulf of Bothnia.
